Just a quick update with a piece I’ve been working on while riding to work on the El. Being a rain fairy she brings storm clouds wherever she goes.

Trying out a bunch of new Photoshop painting techniques, it helps so much to be able to draw on my laptop screen. Using a stylus is a million times easier than trying to paint with my mouse and I learned how to make custom brushes. I could make custom brushes all day.

Oh Sonnett!! She’s beautiful! You are becoming such an amazing artist, (but then again you always have been.) I love that you just kind of drew her up while riding the train. That’s awesome. She is SO stunning. I LOVE her!!!
Looking good! I’m glad that you’re getting in art time with the laptop. I love making brushes too, sometimes more than actually using them. I hope school is great! Love!

@Bob – Thank you! Aren’t custom brushes awesome ^_^ I totally understand about having more fun making them then using them. I love doing leaf – branch – tree combos or I came up with cool scallop brush that I like – I’ll have to post the piece I did with that one soon. Nice. Was it raining when you were drawing her? I’m so glad you can use the commute time to do your drawing. Love it!
